At Hedgehog Elementary School, we spent a memorable week with just five first and second-grade students in the entire school. We used an educational yet engaging approach to introduce children to meaningful themes such as recognizing personal characteristics and strengths, understanding the diversity of love, and learning how to express love to those who care for them. We also incorporated simple STEM activities, such as creating geometric art through origami. Students made heart-shaped origami to convey to classmates, teachers, and family members the insights they gained from the love and care curriculum.
